Steak and Sweet Potato Cubes

Ingredients

•4 ounces grass-fed sirloin steak
•The Treigning Lab’s Steak Rub
•1 large sweet potato, peeled
•1 tablespoons of oil (or coconut oil)
•½ teaspoon salt
•1 teaspoon cinnamon
•¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

Steak

  1. Heat a greased skillet on medium high heat.
  2. Season the steak with The Treigning Lab’s Steak Rub, making sure to massage the rub into the meat. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Cook until the steak shines (Approximately 3-4 minutes on each side).

Sweet Potatoes

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Peel the sweet potato and cube into bite- size pieces.
  3. In a small bowl combine sweet potato cubes, oil, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Spread the coated sweet potato cubes on a sheet pan and cook for 25- 30 mins. (The cubes should be tender, but not mushy)
